Also I think in the coming years board exams will be open book exams and very easier to crack so the future of the app is not so certain. Talking of competition, there are innumerous youtubers and online teachers on which the students can rely on for everything from learning concepts to getting notes and pyqs.

Yeah sure go on with it. full notes , then based on the subject (character studies, case studies, dates and times, formulas and everything in a categorised way)

This kind of service has less time left. If I am parent, I wouldn't want my kid to learn for marks. It has become uncool and rightly so. If you help them understand the concepts well and then optimise for exam, that'd work. I believe Byjus had that concept but failed due to focus on making more profit, doing unethical things for it.

If all the content is free how do you expect to generate revenue?

In your this idea already much more work takes place like if you know about physicswallah platform here already most of Indian exam are already covered and here in there app already pyq questions with proper details analysis are present...not only this if any students has doubt they can ask in doubt engine where there doubt is get solved and much more features are available there

Bro what do you mean? Already there are plenty of offline resources like books available for this and they provide everything that you have Mentioned, I don't see any significant improvement over the offline substitutes, so I believe this won't work but I'll be happy to be proven wrong!!

Take an example of physics wallah. Already doing all this, and offline books are also available. Talking about opportunities, see the conditions of Ed tech Companies. Byju's bearing a loss of $20b in valuation. Physics Wallace's revenue dropped by 90%. The only Ed tech that us surviving is duolingo. But going ahead with the Idea, I would suggest you to build a platform where students can easily share notes and materials like you mentioned. The business model will reassemble with youtube's business model. 1. Where content creator is uploading content, turned on ad monetization on channel and earning money which motivates him/her to create more content. 2. Where viewers are getting to see whatever they want to and that too for free of cost. 3. Alphabet (the owner of youtube) us making a pretty good amount. Similarly in your business: 1. Students will upload notes and materials. (Specifically blogs as you mentioned) 2. Others will get to see the content for free of cost 3. You'll 💰

I'm in 10 th currently(one exam left) So i would say this app will work if the students gets everything he needs in one apo Everything means 1) video lectures 2) notes 3) mcq and solved papers 4) any tips/stretegies For videos you can partner with few youtubers (i wil name them later). And rest of things you will have to make. If you provide all of this, and added features also, then it may work. Only thing i would say that it should video lectures and that not prepared by you but from any youtuber (since the way they present is great).. And you can also check out Studywithsudhir.com. it is not doing what you are doing but may help you.

I feel you could go for subscription and advertisement model both ( taking thought of disney+hotstar ) - upto a level of material - advertisement model and beyond materials could be accessed only on subscription and also you could take different fees on different packages of materials but maybe you should rethink if it would be scalable beyond a point , that's just a suggestion.

Provide lectures recordings of high weightage topics alone and numerical questions with formulas , lastly flash card quiz should do the magic .
