To all those people who post as anonymous account I have an interesting question for you all "Why do you post as anonymous ? why don't with your real identity ? what is the difference in your post when you post from your real account ?" You see here almost 47 to 50 percent of people post as anonymous and the remaining with their real identity. Have you ever thought of it that for what reason you post as anonymous are you Shy ? are you less confident ? or are you hiding this by giving privacy excuses or just to be cool ?

So the concept is very simple. You don’t post any controversial content or opinions on LinkedIn because you have an identity and your peers there and don’t want to be judged. I mean just look at the content that floats on LinkedIn and you will understand the necessity.

I mean I’m more comfortable like this. Maybe if you stop asking these questions and make people more uncomfortable. More people might turn on real identity. If there IS an anonymous mode, i feel more candid, why shouldn’t I use it?

When they launched feed, most interaction was anonymous. A lot of real identity is being used now. I think eventually only real identity will float.

It is looking like I am using medial for anonymous writting only. Even I have an account, just not to effect my reputation using anonymous post 😔 and comments. How you all think on this aspect.

Hi medial team, [Feature Request / UX Improvement] 1) Can you please add option to switch for being anonymous or real account in settings menu? It is soooooo frustrating to switch to anonymous every time we comment on a post. 😭 Possible Solution, -
