Firstly discord is cluttered and annoying space for any new user and second thing is that discord is known for gaming not for these type of things. Third thing is that discord is operated by to many admins and the main thing is that discord don't focusing on these type of things and they are not promoting quality contents . Fourth thing is that discord is operated by so many different creators with different rules and regulations and different opinions and idea so mostly opinions and idea's are divided between so many channels and not targeting any specific playing field. Exactly the problem there are 100s of server which are so diluted and inactive. A single place should have always been there for such stuff.

I believe discord cannot create profiles, doesn’t have real profiles. No niche. Spammy to some extent. A messaging platform and a social media platform are miles apart.

It is not just about the service but also the app experience as well the 'Why the app' was built. You all know discord was mainly build for gamers, thus even when there are such channels, a user won't feel that serious while using thoses channels on discord.
