Just a while back if I remember Hollywood had a writer's strike. Studios wanted to use ai but it was not just the writers and filmmakers that protested against it, the very audience concensus is against the use of ai in this as it simply doesn't have what a good filmmaker can do (so far)
I mean it's a tool. People might use it for smaller scale videos(marketing and YouTube stuff) but when you talk of filmmaking I don't think people will go to theatres to watch movies made with sora nor will someone pay for it. It's like people share ai images all over internet for whatever purposes but no one who pays good money would want to hang that instead of a good painting on their wall
