I have an ecommerce startup of my own. One of our customers sent us a question asking us if we had operations in India. We do not. They pointed me to the website of a startup in China with the exact same name and the exact same concept as ours - every single idea/belief we stand for is something they have also put on their โ€œour valuesโ€ section. Theyโ€™ve just reworded it. This Chinese website seems to have been launched recently (per their โ€œabout usโ€ section). We have been around much longer. I am concerned there might be other customers who might mistake this Chinese company to be ours. And itโ€™s too much of a coincidence for them to have the exact same name, product and concept. Should I sue the dupe company? Will the CCP attack my website?
