I have an ecommerce startup of my own. One of our customers sent us a question asking us if we had operations in India. We do not. They pointed me to the website of a startup in China with the exact same name and the exact same concept as ours - every single idea/belief we stand for is something they have also put on their “our values” section. They’ve just reworded it. This Chinese website seems to have been launched recently (per their “about us” section). We have been around much longer. I am concerned there might be other customers who might mistake this Chinese company to be ours. And it’s too much of a coincidence for them to have the exact same name, product and concept. Should I sue the dupe company? Will the CCP attack my website?
