How do one can do market research ( TAM , existing players, global market ) before starting a business? Anyone?

Firstly , analyse whether is it big problem and if it is big problem then research whether is it a big market . If these things are clear then go for Existing Players , if it is a problem then obviously players will exist in the global market, that's it. Correct me if I am wrong!!

Ok , so you can do research mostly on Google itself because everything is available on Google, you can read publications, magazines and nowadays social media is one of the best sources to learn everything. There is no specific tool or service I don't know right now but I will update it.

Agreed. But my question is how can these research done. For example I want to know existing players in xyz field so from where I will get to know, I will not travel all India to do this research so how would I do this research that's my question.
