It's both alarming and captivating to witness how adept modern students are with social media and various pursuits, from launching YouTube channels to journaling and creating educational reels. Recently, I observed a group of 12th-grade students discussing their aspirations to build portfolios and pursue fields like product design at NID, rather than opting for traditional paths like computer science or medicine. Many of my peers have impressively curated LinkedIn profiles and are already engaged in internships. Some are even venturing into entrepreneurship. The rapid advancement of AI adds another layer of uncertainty, as it becomes increasingly capable of coding, designing, scheduling, and even providing answers, potentially raising concerns about its impact on various professions, including mine.
