It will work for PhonePe. They will save on Playstore fees. Multiple stores already exist though and none have come close to breaking Google monopoly and surely it will not change

But can’t really say it’s an Indian thing because PhonePe is owned by flip mart which in turn is owned by Walmart. So the valley still technically owns it 🤦🏼‍♂️

The problem is that it won't come pre installed. And consumers our too lazy to download another app store wich will benifit the producer, not themselves. If it comes pre-installed, then consumer will use it. Though the problem is that phones our either Android or ios, so pre installed is tough

800 million Indians use the internet, but less than 3% use it for educational purposes. Majority Indians use the Internet for OTT, Social Media, Gaming, etc. Hope we can shift our focus from entertainment to education soon...
