Is there anyone who think that AI is going to change this World in a sci-fi world

I have one question, as a child who grew up watching sci-fi movies now they can be reality because of AI but is it really causing threat to us humans on that greater scale and if so why can't we put some limitations on it ?

I have some sort of stories in genres like Sci fi, love and horror. I want to use my talent by working with someone. I want to collaborate with anyone who is interested in editing, animations making, movie making etc.. pls do msg if we can.
