How is tam a challenge it should be given priority before starting a start up and scaling is dependent on tam. It is something like you can't overcome tam unless you are in category creation startup. If tam Is small then you know how much you can scale and that is not considered as challenge more like it is matric through which one can know how big is the market for the product. And marketing, financial management and operations are main challenges. Team building can be done simultaneously so not as big challenge compared to other 3 .
