I think I'm qualified to answer this with over 8 years of experience in gaming. 1) Almost impossible to become pro. Competition is intense, opportunity is scarce. 2) Even if you somehow make it, you career won't last more than 5 year max. 3) Variable pay dependent on performance. No room for underperformance. 4) Sitting 10+ hours in front of the screen no matter how much you love gaming will break your back and strain your eyes. The profession takes a toll on everyone. 5) You literally have better chances of making it in any other profession than gaming. Indian e-sports needs to grow a lot to accommodate growing dreams. Having said that, I don't mean to demoralise you. Just a heads up for what to expect. Cheers!
