What is up with US folks thinking low of India? Even the NRI’s there consider US>India vehemently. It’s appalling that they don’t recognise the tremendous growth of our tech and ecosystem. Salaries will soon be at par. Their arrogance is so irritating on social platforms.

Half of them have faced discrimination there in some form or the other. Most want to come back to India. Only the ones who know they will get sub-par jobs in India because their talent has been outpaced by young Indians become salty and shit about India on the internet.

This seems to be the result of inculcation and deep rooted sense of achievement of moving to US. With the H1B restrictions in place its been even more glorified. Funnily enough most of them will migrate back to retire.
