How would you feel if someone copied and executed your idea better than you and ended up building a big company? Would you be content knowing that the idea was better or will you feel angry that someone else did it? Basically would you be okay if some one Zucked you into being a Winkelvie brother?

This is the reality fortunately or unfortunately. The industry does not care about your ideas or planning. It's who can execute the best. If ideas were rewarded then the most successful people would be scientists. Personally I would be gutted but maybe that's just the entrepreneur in me

Idea stealing is not a real thing. Very few people will obsess as much as the original idea guy/girl. Nobody has the time to copy your idea and throw their life behind it. Don’t let a movie delude you into believing that! Share your idea. Ask for insights and feedback from everyone. Cheers!

Competition is usually healthy for any market. If you have an idea and similar startups spring up, it ends up expanding the market, keeping the founders on edge to deliver better and surpass their potential.
