Zomato introduces secondary market for event ticketing ‘Book Now, Sell Anytime’

Zomato is launching a secondary market for event ticketing on its platform. Called "Book Now, Sell Anytime," the feature will allow users to sell their event tickets on the Zomato app. The company has implemented measures to prevent unfair pricing and touting, such as limiting the number of tickets a customer can sell and capping the maximum listed price. This move comes after Zomato's acquisition of Paytm's events and movie ticketing business, as the company aims to expand its offerings beyond food delivery. Zomato also plans to launch a separate app called "District" for its going-out business.
