Digital investment platform Groww on Wednesday reported its first set of quarterly results since listing on the stock exchanges. The company posted a 25% rise in revenue during the third quarter, although its profit declined by 28% over the same period. The company’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 1,216 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 974.5 crore in the same quarter last year, according to its financial statement sourced from NSE. Other income contributed an additional Rs 45 crore, which drove its total income to Rs 1,261 crore for the quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the company’s income rose by 19% from Rs 1,019 crore in Q2 FY26. However, for the nine months period ending December 2025, the firm’s revenue remained flat at Rs 3,139 crore. On the expense side, employee benefit was the largest burn which accounted for 30% of the total expense at Rs 157 crore in Q3 FY26. Finance cost stood at Rs 10 crore, while depreciation cost added Rs 9 crore to the total expense which stood at Rs 515.5 crore in Q3 FY26. Groww’s net profit decreased by 28% to Rs 547 crore in Q3 FY26 as compared to Rs 757 crore in Q3 FY25. For the nine months period ending December 2025, the company reported a profit of Rs 1,397 crore. Sequentially, Groww reported a 16% surge in net profit (PAT) to Rs 547 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 471 crore in Q2 FY26. The year-on-year decline was largely due to a one-time gain (net of taxes) of Rs 315 crore booked in Q3 FY25. Groww made a strong debut on the Indian stock exchanges in November last year, listing at Rs 114 per share on the BSE, a 14% premium over its issue price despite a muted grey market premium (GMP) of around 3%. On the NSE, the stock opened at Rs 112. Groww India’s share is trading at Rs 158 (as of 12:51 PM), giving the company a total market capitalization of Rs 97,595 crore ($11.21 billion).

US-based asset management firm State Street Investment Management has invested Rs 580 crore, or approximately $65 million, in Groww Asset Management Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Groww, as per Groww’s exchange filing. Groww AMC is an investment manager of Groww Mutual Fund which manages various funds of Groww Mutual Fund. According to the filing, the proposed transaction includes around Rs 381 crore through secondary share purchases, while approximately Rs 199 crore will be infused as fresh capital, potentially diluting Groww AMC’s share capital by up to 23%, while the voting rights will be restricted to 4.9 percent. The transaction is to be completed within six months. The acquisition is aimed at meeting working capital requirements and supporting further growth opportunities, the filing said. In December 2025, Groww strengthened its lead in the stock broking space by adding 39,500 active demat accounts during the month, taking its total client base to around 1.21 crore (12.13 million) and capturing a 27.06% market share. Groww also announced its Q3 FY26 results today. The company reported a 25% year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs 1,216 crore during the third quarter, while its profit declined 28% over the same period to Rs 547 crore. At the end of today’s trading session, Groww’s share closed at Rs 163.7, giving the company a total market capitalization of Rs 1,01,061.8 crore ($11.35 billion).

Ixigo released its financial results for the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q3 FY25) on Tuesday. The company reported a 41% growth in scale, while its year-on-year (YoY) profits declined by 49.3%. Ixigo’s revenue from operations surged 41.5% to Rs 242 crore in Q3 FY25 in contrast to Rs 171 crore in Q3 FY24, as per the firm’s consolidated financial results sourced from the National Stock Exchange. The company generated the majority (49.6%) of its operating revenue from train ticketing which increased to Rs 120 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 95 crore in Q3 FY24. Flight and bus booking services contributed 28% and 21.4% respectively. Besides operating revenue, the firm also earned Rs 5.2 crore via interest and gains from financial assets during the quarter, taking its total topline to Rs 247 crore in Q3 FY25. Ixigo’s gross transaction value (GTV) increased 48% year-on-year to Rs 4,036 crore during the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. Employee benefits expenses rose by 17% YoY to Rs 41 crore. Overall, the company's total costs grew 42.7% to Rs 224 crore in Q3 FY25 compared to Rs 157 crore in Q3 FY24. Ixigo's net profits dropped by 49.3% to Rs 15.5 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 30.6 crore in Q3 FY24, attributed to a deferred tax income of Rs 16.7 crore booked in Q3 FY24. On a PBT basis, profits showed a significant QoQ increase of 54% to Rs 21.4 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 13.9 crore in Q3 FY24. Ixigo is currently trading at Rs 127.7 with a total market capitalization of Rs 4,886 crore or $581 million.

Income from the consumer segment formed 38% of the total operating revenue which increased to Rs 66 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 51 crore in Q1 FY25. Income from the remarketing and classified segment stood at Rs 59 crore and Rs 48 crore, respectively, in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. On the expense front, employee benefits expenses formed 53% of the overall spending which went up a modest 6% to Rs 75 crore during the period. Including other costs, CarTrade’s overall expenses increased 8% to Rs 142 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 23 crore during Q1 FY25. The decent growth and controlled spending enabled CarTrade to double its net profit to Rs 47 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 23 crore in Q1 FY25. CarTrade’s share price is trading at Rs 1,871 (as of 10:56 AM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 8,886 crore ($1.03 billion).

Its advertising and internet costs stood at Rs 82 crore and 20 crore, respectively. The company’s overall cost grew 7% YoY to Rs 487 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 455 crore in Q3 FY24. The steady growth and surge in other income with controlled expenditure led its profits to increase by 142% to Rs 288 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to Rs 119 crore in Q3 FY24. On a unit level, it spent Rs 0.67 to earn a rupee in Q3 FY25. As of 4:40 PM, Info Edge is trading at Rs 7,910, reflecting a Rs 203.1 increase following today's results. Its total market capitalization value improved to Rs 1,02,501 crore ($12.2 billion).

Bengaluru-based stock broker Groww has surpassed the 1.25 crore (12.59 million) mark in active traders in October, driven by the addition of around 3.5 lakh users in a single month, according to data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Zerodha, Groww’s closest competitor, had approximately 80.6 lakh (8.06 million) active investors as of last month. Groww overtook Zerodha in October last year and has held the top position ever since. As per the NSE’s data, Groww has nearly doubled its user base over the past year, whereas Zerodha added just 15 lakh new users. Angel One, the third-largest stockbroker, has 75 lakh (7.53 million) active users and may surpass Zerodha in the coming months. Upstox ranked fourth, had 28.52 lakh (2.85 million) users as of last month. ICICI Direct is the fifth largest player in this space with 19.3 lakh active users (1.93 million). Dhan, launched by former Paytm Money executive Pravin Jadhav, had 8.49 lakh (0.84 million) users as of October. Dhan entered the top 10 list of stockbroking apps in India in August this year, replacing Paytm Money. INDmoney and PhonePe's Share.Market are the new entrants in the top 20 list with 6.7 lakh (0.67 million) and 2.69 lakh (0.26 million) respectively. In terms of scale, Zerodha had the highest revenue in FY24 at Rs 8,370 crore, followed by Angel One, which reported Rs 4,272 crore in revenue for the last fiscal year. Nithin Kamath’s Zerodha reported a profit of Rs 2,907 crore, while Angel One’s profits exceeded Rs 1,125 crore in FY24. Groww’s revenue from operations surged to Rs 3,145 crore in FY24. The Lalit Keshre-led company recorded a net loss of Rs 805 crore in FY24, primarily due to a one-time tax payment of Rs 1,340 crore for relocating its domicile to India. Despite this, the firm remained operationally profitable. Upstox, which posted over Rs 1,000 crore in revenue in FY23, has yet to file its annual report for FY24.

The company’s revenue from operations fell 9.4% year-on-year to Rs 1,019 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 1,125 crore in the same quarter last year, according to its financial statement sourced from NSE. Other income contributed an additional Rs 52 crore, which drove its total income to Rs 1,071 crore for the quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the company’s income rose by 13% from Rs 904 crore in Q1 FY26. However, for the six months period ending September 2025, the firm’s revenue decreased 9.5% to Rs 1,923 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 2,126 crore in H1 FY25. On the expense side, employee benefit was the largest burn, accounting for 29% of the total expense. This cost was cut by 53% to Rs 124 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 264 crore in Q2 FY25. Finance costs and depreciation costs were other overheads which contributed to the total expense, which reduced by 37% to Rs 432 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 690 crore in Q2 FY25. Due to the decrease in the company’s expenses, Groww’s profit increased by 12% to Rs 471 crore in Q2 FY26 as compared to Rs 420 crore in Q2 FY25. On a half-yearly basis, the company’s profit increased by 12% to Rs 850 crore in H1 FY26 as compared to Rs 758 crore in H1 FY25. Groww made a strong debut on the Indian stock exchanges, listing at Rs 114 per share on the BSE, a 14% premium over its issue price. On the NSE, the stock opened at Rs 112. The company’s Rs 6,632 crore IPO comprised a fresh issue worth Rs 1,060 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 5,572 crore. According to exchange data, Groww’s IPO was oversubscribed 17.6 times, with the retail portion subscribed 9.43X, QIBs (excluding anchors) 22.02X, and Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) 14.2X. Groww India’s share is trading at Rs 164, giving the company a total market capitalization of Rs 1,01,166 crore ($11.4 billion).
