You & your kids should learn Kannada if you make Bengaluru your home: Vembu

Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu reacted to X user's post about people learning European languages while travelling but making no effort to learn local languages. "If you make Bengaluru your home, you [and your kids] should learn Kannada," he said. Claiming that not doing this is "disrespectful", he added he asks employees from other states based in Chennai to learn Tamil.

It’s simple we want to preserve our language, not that we can’t speak on any other language. When we are willing to learn your language why are you distant and unwilling to learn ours

And don't know what kind of mentality south indians have when it comes to language ..in North India we also have our regional languages but we proudly speak Hindi and forces no one or disrespects them to speak out local regional languages..which makes us more United..
