UK-based house clearance company Just Clear recently unearthed two of the world's earliest desktop computers, the Q1 model, during a routine clearance job. Manufactured by the Q1 Corporation in the US in 1972, these computers feature Intel's 8008 processor and a distinctive design resembling typewriters. Initially unaware of their historical importance, the company consulted experts and discovered that the Q1s are extremely rare and only three are known to exist worldwide. Just Clear showcased the computers at a technology exhibition at Kingston University. The company is now considering whether to auction or privately sell the computers.
