Varda Space, a California startup, successfully brought back the first batch of pharmaceutical crystals manufactured in orbit outside the International Space Station (ISS). The company, with the help of Rocket Lab, also became the first private company to land a capsule on U.S. soil. The footage of the capsule's reentry, taken from W-1 spacecraft, was released by Varda Space on their Youtube page. The capsule, which spent eight months in orbit, landed at the Utah Test and Training Range. The crystals will now be analyzed to determine the effects of microgravity on their formation.

China has developed an extensive high-speed rail network spanning over 45,000 kilometers, connecting 75% of cities with populations exceeding 500,000 at speeds of 300 kmph. This contrasts with Indiaโs rail advancements where, in 1969, the Rajdhani Express was only the second train in Asia, after Japan, to exceed speeds of 100 kmph. Despite considerable debate, India's progress towards establishing its first bullet train route lags significantly behind Chinaโs rapid infrastructure expansion.

Netflix's mobile app now allows viewers to watch content at 1.25x and 1.5x speeds. While some may find this appealing for certain shows like reality TV, others are curious about the motivation behind this accelerated watching habit. Some viewers use these faster speeds to quickly get through shows they aren't particularly invested in, while others enjoy the ability to consume more content in a shorter amount of time. This trend of speed-watching could be influenced by the increasing fragmentation of content consumption and the desire for quick gratification in a fast-paced world.

The company debuted its first modem, the C1, with the iPhone 16e, but it currently occupies a separate motherboard space. Apple is testing newer models, C2 and C3, with full integration aimed for 2028. Despite its power efficiency claims, Apple's modem lacks mmWave support and trails Qualcomm's performance, potentially impacting data speeds.
