Delaware-based cybersecurity startup Vorlon has raised $15.7m in a series A funding round to enhance its platform for protecting businesses' data. The firm, founded in 2022 by former Palo Alto Networks executives Amir Khayat and Amichay Spivak, uses AI to analyse and detect potential API abuse in real-time. Vorlon continuously monitors a company's APIs and notifies them of updates, exposures and vulnerabilities, while also providing an AI chatbot for users to search for information on security threats. Early customers of Vorlon's platform, launched in February, include HubSpot, SafeBreach, and Vivun.
