Vijay Shekhar Sharma-led Paytm grants ESOPs worth Rs 16.7 crore to eligible employees

One 97 Communications, Paytm's parent company, has approved a grant of employee stock options (ESOPs) valued at approximately Rs 16.7 crore to eligible employees under its 2019 ESOP scheme. Each option can be converted into one equity share after exercise. Additionally, Paytm Payments Services Limited received authorization from the RBI to operate as a payment aggregator for various transactions. In Q2 FY26, Paytm reported increased revenue but a sharp decline in net profit compared to the previous year.
