VC firm Maniv is growing in every direction, armed with a $140M new fund

Maniv, an Israeli venture firm, has recently closed a $140 million fund and expanded its geographic focus. The firm, which primarily invests in the mobility, transportation, and energy sectors, has active portfolio companies in nine countries. Maniv has also shifted its investment strategy to focus on deep tech, decarbonization, and digitization of the transportation sector, rather than the umbrella term "mobility." The firm's investor base has also become more diverse, with a range of investors from sectors such as leasing, fintech, logistics, and energy. The fund has made investments in companies working in various areas, including green hydrogen production, chip design, e-motorcycle battery swapping, and post-consumer recycled plastic in manufacturing.
