Unicommerce’s revenue grows 70% in Q4 FY25

E-commerce enablement SaaS platform Unicommerce continued its growth trajectory over the last quarter, reporting a 73% increase in revenue and 18% jump in profit. The company’s revenue from operations rose to Rs 45 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 26 crore in Q4 FY24, according to its financial statement sourced from National Stock Exchange (NSE). For the full fiscal year ending March 2025, Unicommerce’s revenue rose 31% to Rs 135 crore. Including other undisclosed income, its total income for Q4 FY25 grew to Rs 46 crore, up from Rs 27.7 crore in Q4 FY24. On the expense front, employee benefits remained steady at Rs 16 crore in Q4 FY25. Server hosting costs declined 28% to Rs 1 crore from Rs 1.4 crore, while depreciation and amortization rose to Rs 4 crore. Finance costs stood at Rs 1.5 crore during the quarter. Overall, Unicommerce’s total expenses for the quarter increased 71% to Rs 41 crore from Rs 24 crore in Q4 FY24. Annually, total expense increased to Rs 116 crore in FY25 from Rs 92 crore in FY24. At the end, the Gurugram-based firm reported a 16.4% spike in its profit to Rs 3.35 crore in Q4 FY25 as compared to Rs 2.88 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, the company’s profit increased 34.3% to Rs 17.6 crore in FY25 from Rs 13.1 crore in FY24. Since its public listing in August 2024, Unicommerce has seen significant growth in market capitalization, which now stands at Rs 1,321 crore. As of May 5, its share price closed at Rs 128, up from the listing price of Rs 108. The stock reached its 52-week peak of Rs 264 in August last year.

Despite strong revenue growth following steady expansion, the Gurugram-based company reported a sharp 78% decline in profit for the quarter ending March 2025. Eternal’s revenue from operations grew 64% to Rs 5,833 crore in Q4 FY25 in contrast to Rs 3,562 crore in Q4 FY24. With this, Eternal’s overall revenue for the fiscal year ending March 2025 jumped 67% to Rs 20,243 crore from Rs 12,114 crore in FY24. Eternal operates several business units, including a food marketplace, Hyperpure, and quick commerce platform BlinkIt. Income from Eternal’s food delivery business contributed 35% of the total revenue in Q4 FY25, growing 18% to Rs 2,054 crore from Rs 1,739 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from Hyperpure (B2B supplies) and the quick commerce segment (Blinkit) saw significant growth, rising 93% to Rs 1,840 crore and 122% to Rs 1,709 crore, respectively, during the last quarter of FY25. Earnings from the 'Going-out' segment and other non-operating income brought the Eternal Group’s total revenue to Rs 6,201 crore in Q4 FY25. Delivery and related charges accounted for 25% of Eternal's total expenditure, at Rs 1,552 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefit cost rose 89% to Rs 1632 crore, while spending on advertising and marketing increased by 63% to Rs 634 crore in FY24. Overall, the company’s overall expenditure increased by 68% to Rs 6,104 crore in Q4 FY25, up from Rs 3,636 crore in Q3 FY25. An increase in current tax expenses to Rs 74 crore led to a 78% drop in the company’s profit after tax, which fell to Rs 39 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 175 crore in Q4 FY24. On a per-unit basis, the Gurugram-based company spent Rs 1.04 to earn every rupee of revenue during the quarter ending March 2025.

Online trucking platform Blackbuck has released its quarterly report for the financial year ending March 2025. The Bengaluru-based company reported a 31% year-on-year growth in scale in Q4 FY25 and turned profitable, posting a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 41 crore in the quarter. For the full fiscal year (FY25), Blackbuck’s operating revenue increased 44% to Rs 427 crore in FY25 from Rs 297 crore in FY24. Revenue from its truck operator services was the primary source of revenue, accounting for 98% of total operating revenue. The company also made Rs 15 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 137 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 99 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full fiscal year, the firm’s total revenue stood at Rs 462 crore in FY25. Looking at the expenses, the employee benefit cost accounted for 35% of the overall expenditure which fell 74% year-on-year to Rs 33 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 128 crore in Q4 FY24. Depreciation and other operating expenses were key overheads that drove total expenditure to Rs 95 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 187 crore in the same quarter last year. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses fell to Rs 371 crore as compared to Rs 483 crore in FY24. Blackbuck booked profit before tax of Rs 41 crore in Q4 FY25, as compared to a loss of Rs 87 crore in Q4 FY24. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year ended March 2025, the company remained at a loss of Rs 283 crore (before tax), 69% more than Rs 167 crore in FY24. Blackbuck debuted on the stock exchange at Rs 208.90 and is now trading at Rs 459 on May 27, bringing its total market capitalization to Rs 8,180 crore.

The company reported a year-on-year revenue growth of over 34% compared to Q4 FY24. MapMyIndia’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 143 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 107 crore in Q4 FY24. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year, revenue increased by 22% to Rs 463 crore in FY25 from Rs 379 crore in FY24, according to its consolidated quarterly report. Income from digital map data, GPS navigation, location-based services, and IoT was the primary source of revenue for MapMyIndia, accounting for 88% of the total collection. This revenue source increased by 51% to Rs 127 crore in Q4 FY25. However, income from the sale of its devices generated Rs 16.5 crore in revenue. The cost of IoT devices, employee benefits, and outsourced technical services were the major cost elements, pushing the total cost of the firm to Rs 90 crore in Q4 FY25, up from Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, the total cost increased to Rs 306 crore in FY25. With the increase in scale, MapMyIndia recorded a 29% increase in its profit to Rs 49 crore during Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 38 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile, annual profit increased by 10% to Rs 148 crore in FY25, up from Rs 134 crore in FY24. At the end of the day on 9th May 2025, MapMyIndia closed at Rs 1,845 per share, with a market capitalization of Rs 10,040 crore ($1.17 billion).

Swiggy posts Rs 4,410 Cr revenue in Q4 FY25, Instamart grows 115% Foodtech and quick commerce major Swiggy has managed a 45% year-on-year growth in its operating revenue which spiked to Rs 4,410 crore during Q4 FY25 as compared to Rs 3,045 crore in Q4 FY24. However, the Bengaluru-based company’s losses surged 95% in the same period. Swiggy’s food delivery business continues to be a major contributor, accounting for 37% of the total collection in Q4 FY25. Revenues from this vertical grew 18% to Rs 1,629 crore from Rs 1,375 crore in Q4 FY24. The company’s quick commerce segment also saw remarkable growth, with revenue surging by 115% to Rs 689 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 320 crore in Q4 FY24. The segment's gross order value (GOV) growth was driven by an increase in order frequency and the addition of new dark stores. Scootsy Logistics contributed a major 45% of Swiggy’s overall operating collection. Income from this entity increased by 58% YoY to Rs 2,004 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1,265 crore in Q4 FY24. During the last quarter, Swiggy invested Rs 1,000 crore in Scootsy to support expansion and growth. Swiggy’s Dine Out, Genie, Swiggy Mini, and other non-operating income took its total revenue to Rs 4,531 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year ending March 2025, Swiggy’s revenue rose 35% to Rs 15,227 crore in FY25 from Rs 11,247 crore in FY24. On the cost side, the procurement of FMCG products for supply chain distribution formed 33% of its overall cost which increased by 52% to Rs 1,854 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, the delivery charges saw 27% growth to Rs 1,161 crore in Q4 FY25. Swiggy spent Rs 695 crore and Rs 978 crore on employee benefits and advertising, respectively. Overall, Swiggy’s total expenses for the quarter increased 53% to Rs 5,609 crore from Rs 3,668 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal-on-fiscal year basis, its total expenses increased to Rs 18,725 crore in the quarter ending March 2025 from Rs 13,947 crore in FY24. The 53% growth in expenditure led losses to increase by 95% to Rs 1,081 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 555 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal-on-fiscal basis, Swiggy’s losses spiked 33% to Rs 3,117 crore in FY25 from Rs 2,350 crore in FY24.

The Gurugram-based firm also reported a profit of Rs 72 crore during the same period. Delhivery’s revenue from operations grew to Rs 2,191 crore in Q4 FY25, according to its financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). For the full fiscal year (FY25), Delhivery’s operating revenue increased 10% to Rs 8,932 crore in FY25 from Rs 8,141 crore in FY24. Delhivery's primary revenue sources were its logistics services, including warehousing, last-mile logistics, and designing and deploying logistics management systems. The firm also earned Rs 112 crore from non-operating activities, bringing its total revenue to Rs 2,303 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year, total income reached Rs 9,372 crore. For Delhivery, freight handling and servicing costs made up 70% of its total expenditure, rising by 3% to Rs 1,566 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefit expenses decreased by 6% to Rs 337 crore. Legal, depreciation, and other overhead costs contributed to a minor decrease in overall expenditure, which reached Rs 2,249 crore during the quarter. For the full financial year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses rose to Rs 9,217 crore as against Rs 8,825 crore in FY24. Delhivery's continued growth and controlled expenditure resulted in a profit of Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 68 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, it turned profitable and reported a net profit of Rs 162 crore in FY25 as compared to a loss of Rs 249 crore in FY24. At the close of today’s trading session, Delhivery’s share price stood at Rs 321 per share, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 23,957 crore.

Unicommerce’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 27.4 crore in Q1 FY25, from Rs 26.5 crore in Q4 FY24, its audited financial statements sourced from National Stock Exchange (NSE) shows. For background, its operating revenue increased by 15% to Rs 103 crore in the last fiscal year (FY24) from Rs 90 crore in FY23. Unicommerce offers integrated e-commerce enablement SaaS solutions including inventory, return, and omnichannel management. Besides India, Unicommerce operates in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE & Saudi Arabia among others. Unicommerce spending on employee benefits, server hosting, finance, legal, and other overheads took the firm’s overall cost to Rs 24.2 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 23.9 crore in Q4 FY24. The modest increase in controlled expenditure helped Unicommerce to grow its profits by 22% to Rs 3.5 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2.87 crore in Q4 FY24. On a unit level, it spent Rs 0.88 to earn a rupee in Q1 FY25. The Gurugram-based firm had launched an IPO of Rs 276 crore, open to the public from August 2 to August 6, with a price band of Rs 102-108 per share. Unicommerce’s popularity was evident in its oversubscription rate, which soared over 168 times. The firm is currently trading at Rs 221.97 (as of the end of August 30) with a market capitalization of Rs 2,273 crore (approximately $274 million).

Meanwhile, hotel packages accounted for 16.5% of the total revenue, bringing in Rs 23 crore. To the tune of scale, its total expense increased by 12% to Rs 131 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 117 crore in Q4 FY24. Service cost, payment gateway, employee benefit and costs were other major overheads for EaseMyTrip during the last quarter. For the full fiscal year ending March 2025, the total expenses rose to Rs 460 crore. EaseMyTrip booked profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 12 crore in Q4 FY25 as compared to a loss of Rs 17 crore in Q4 FY24. During FY25, the firm’s profit before tax stood at Rs 143 crore in FY25 from Rs 142 crore in FY24. EaseMyTrip closed the last trading session at Rs 11.28, with a 0.71% increase in its share price. The company also made Rs 48 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 1,979 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,685 crore in Q4 FY24. For the omnichannel retailer, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 58% of the overall expenditure which increased 14% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 1,206 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1055 crore in Q4 FY24. FirstCry employee benefits stood at Rs 229 crore in Q4 FY25 which includes Rs 82 crore as ESOP cost. Marketing, legal, rent, and technology expenses were key overheads that drove total expenditure up to Rs 2,060 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,737 crore in the same quarter last year. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the company’s total expenses rose to Rs 7,992 crore. BrainBees’ loss surged by 74% to Rs 75 crore in Q4 FY25. For FY25, the firm losses stood at 215 crore in FY25, down from Rs 321 crore in FY24. (We have excluded exceptional items amounting to Rs 37 crore from the loss calculation.) BrainBees debuted on the stock exchange at Rs 446 and is now trading at 376.5 on May 26, bringing its total market capitalization to Rs 19,631 crore.

Online travel aggregator (OTA) platform EaseMyTrip announced its financial results on Tuesday for the quarter ending June 2024. The results show a marginal decline in scale and profit during Q1 FY25. EaseMyTrip’s operating revenue declined by 6.97% to Rs 152.6 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 164 crore in Q4 FY 24, as per its unaudited consolidated financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange. Revenue from air ticketing accounted for 70% of the revenue whereas hotel packages formed 18.05% of the total collection. On a sequential basis, its revenue from operations increased by 23% as compared to Q1 FY24. To the tune of scale, its total expense decreased by 7.19% to Rs 109 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 117.48 crore in Q4 FY24. Service cost, payment gateway, employee benefit and advertisement costs were other major overheads for EaseMyTrip during the last quarter. The fall in collection also impacted EaseMyTrip’s profit which reduced 13.29% to Rs 33.92 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 39.12 crore in Q4 FY 25. The Delhi-based company spent Rs 0.71 to earn a rupee in Q1FY25. EaseMyTrip is currently trading at Rs 36.7 (as of 16.30 PM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 7,033 crore (approximately $847 million).
