A Turkish university student has been arrested and detained for using AI and hidden devices to cheat on a university entrance exam. The student used a camera disguised as a shirt button and an AI software connected to a hidden device in their shoe to scan and answer exam questions. The student was caught behaving suspiciously during the exam. Another person who assisted the student was also detained. This incident brings to mind previous cases of cheating involving wireless communications and computers, such as the Eudaemons, a group of physics students from the University of California who developed a computer device to predict roulette outcomes in casinos.
