The merged entity aims to compete with established players like MakeMyTrip and EaseMyTrip in the curated holiday market. Both Holidify and TripCrafters have achieved profitability without external funding, projecting a significant increase in annual revenue.

Experiential travel brand WanderOn has raised Rs 54 crore in Series A funding round co-led by DSG Consumer Partners and CAAF. The fresh funds will be utilized to build more immersive and accessible travel experiences, expand destination portfolio, strengthen high-demand categories such as adventure, sports-led and wellness travel, and invest further in technology to enhance the entire traveller journey, WanderOn said in a press release. Co-founded in 2017 by Chirag Jain, Ravi Khokher, Madhusudan Jaju, and Govind Gaur, WanderOn is a travel-tech company that offers community-focused, curated group travel experiences (road trips, treks, custom tours) for millennials and Gen Z in India and abroad, emphasizing unique offbeat destinations and hassle-free, budget-friendly trips with strong social media presence. The platform focuses on creating memorable travel communities for young adults. The Gurugram-based company aims to reach travellers across the country, offering a seamless, intuitive end-to-end journey. Operating on a direct-to-consumer (D2C) model, the platform specializes in experiential group travel packages, leveraging digital storytelling, influencer collaborations, and organic marketing to attract adventure enthusiasts. Its revenue model is driven by pre-booked travel packages, add-on experiences, and exclusive brand partnerships. WanderOn claims that it has taken over 1 lakh travellers across more than 40 domestic and international destinations, with a strong share driven by repeat customers. It has scaled to over a Rs 100 crore business on a bootstrapped model, while doubling year-on-year in the post-Covid period. It may directly or indirectly compete with other notable players in this space such as Thrillophilia, TravelTriangle, Tripoto, and Holidify.

Travel-tech company Rimigo raises $550K in pre-seed round Travel-tech company Rimigo has secured $550,000 in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Japan-based Reazon Capital and SGgrow Capital. The round also witnessed participation from Indian angel investors such as S Ramadorai, Ravi Nigam, Shashank Deshpande, and Ujjwal Jain. The proceeds will be used to fuel product development, hire talent, and expand its team of travel and technology experts, Rimigo said in a press release. Co-founded in 2014 by Sahil Sharma, Shubham Chintalwar, and Aditya Shirole, Rimigo aims to simplify international travel with integrated collaborative tools, AI-driven personalisation, and curated travel insights. The platform offers an AI-driven end-to-end vacation planning solution, where users simply specify their destination and vacation preferences, and the platform generates detailed itineraries, flight recommendations, curated accommodation, dining, and activity options. According to the Bengaluru-based company, it addresses key challenges travellers face such as complex processes, information overload, limited personalisation, and local expertise. Rimigo says that it will combine collaborative tools with AI-powered guidance and curated booking options to make international travel more accessible and enjoyable. With advances in AI, it plans to create a unique opportunity for personalised vacation planning experience. Rimigo claims that it has already organised over 120 vacations in a beta phase and around 50 of these trips have been completed, with many users planning their next vacations with them or referring their friends. The remaining 70 trips are still in the planning stage.
