This Mumbai-based start-up is attempting to disrupt the traditional FD segment

Mumbai-based start-up Fixed Invest aims to disrupt the traditional fixed deposit (FD) segment by creating a platform where investors can compare and invest in FDs across banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs). The platform offers a fully digital and paperless process and allows investors to open an FD with a bank without opening a new savings account. Fixed Invest has already partnered with several banks and NBFCs and plans to diversify into debt mutual funds and bonds in the future. The start-up aims to enable over ₹50,000 crore worth of investments in the next five years.
