AI-based low-code test automation platform Testsigma has raised $8.2 million in funding led by MassMutual Ventures, along with existing investors Accel, STRIVE, and BoldCap. Earlier, in 2022, Testsigma raised $4.6 million led by Accel, with participation from STRIVE and BoldCap. Founded in 2019 by Rukmangada Kandyala, Pratheep Velicherla, Vikram Chaitanya, and Rajesh Reddy, Testsigma is a Gen AI-powered, low-code test automation platform that helps quality engineering teams to automate tests at speed and scale without coding expertise. The platform helps users to rapidly create, organise, and run automated tests for web and mobile applications, as well as APIs, using plain English through to its NLP (Natural Language Programming) engine. Its clientele includes Sage, HPE, Netgear, HDFC Life, IEEE, SignEasy, American Psychological Association, and Mehilรคinen.

Cloud-based testing platform LambdaTest has secured $38 million in a funding round led by Avataar Ventures, with Qualcomm Ventures also participating. The fresh funding comes after a gap of more than 30 months for the Noida and San Francisco-based startup. This latest round brings the companyโ€™s total funding to $108 million, including a $45 million round in March 2022. Its early backers include Premji Invest, Peak XV, Telstra Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Leo Capital. LambdaTest was part of the fourth cohort of Peak XVโ€™s accelerator program, Surge. LambdaTest plans to use the latest funds to enhance its AI-driven QA solutions, including its newly launched โ€œAI Native QA Agent-as-a-Serviceโ€ platform, KaneAI. Founded in 2017 by Asad Khan, the startup aims to revolutionize quality assurance (QA) through automation and AI. LambdaTest boasts a customer base of over 15,000 and claims to have executed more than 1.2 billion tests to date. KaneAI is designed to reduce manual testing efforts by up to 70% by automating test script generation and providing actionable insights. According to the company, its HyperExecute platform accelerates test resolution by 2.5x and detects errors 60% faster than traditional cloud grids. With 105% year-over-year growth, LambdaTest serves over 2.3 million developers and testers globally. In India, the firmโ€™s operating revenue surged 53.6% to Rs 175.44 crore in FY24 from Rs 114.22 crore in the previous fiscal year. Its profit stood at around Rs 18 crore. However, the company did not disclose its global financial numbers. BrowserStack, Perfecto, and Testsigma are some of LambdaTestโ€™s direct or indirect competitors.

Exclusive: Student housing startup Your-Space raises $8.2 Mn debt Student housing startup Your-Space has raised Rs 70 crore (approximately $8.2 million) in debt led by existing investor Shantanu Rastogi, Managing Director of General Atlantic. The round also includes participation from other existing investors, including Castle Investments and Ajax Capital. The board at Your-Space has passed a special resolution to issue 10,14,493 compulsory convertible debentures (CCDs) at an issue price of Rs 690 each to raise Rs 70 crore, according to its January regulatory filing accessed from the RoC. Shantanu Rastogi led the round with an investment of Rs 25 crore, followed by new investor Ashish Kacholia, who will contribute Rs 10 crore. Other notable investments include Rs 7.5 crore each from Satyadharma Investments and Castle Investments, while Ajay Guptaโ€™s family office, Ajax Capital, and Holy Basil Consultancy will invest Rs 5 crore each. The company has already received approximately Rs 51 crore out of Rs 70 crore while the rest of the amount will follow soon. The fresh proceeds will be used for working capital requirements, creditor payments, and other general business operations, the filings added. Notably, the conversion of debentures into equity shares will be done at the valuation of Rs 185 crore against the above-mentioned sum at a later date, the filings further added. Your-Space is a student housing company offering affordable PGs, hostels, and co-living spaces for both girls and boys. With over 60 smart spaces, the company integrates tech-enabled safety features, including facial recognition, biometrics, and digital locks. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, the company has raised around $17.6 million in funding including both debt and equity including a $10 million Series A round raised in January 2022 led by Shantanu Rastogi. The Delhi-based company reported over 20% year-on-year growth in operating revenue to Rs 142.7 crore in FY24, compared to Rs 117.2 crore in FY23. The Delhi-based company also posted a loss of Rs 30.7 crore during the same period.
