Social networking platform Culture raises seed round led by Acuvest Infra Social networking platform Culture has raised Rs 2 crore in a seed funding round led by Acuvest Infra. The proceeds will be used to accelerate product development, expand community initiatives, and strengthen safety-focused platform infrastructure, Culture said in a press release. Founded by Anurag Rangineni, Culture enables users to discover and connect through Artificial Intelligence-driven interest-based video matching, allowing conversations to develop organically around shared passions such as music, startups, travel, wellness, and creative pursuits. Culture places strong emphasis on accountability and user safety by using real profiles, phone verification, and Artificial Intelligence-powered moderation that automatically disconnects interactions involving nudity, harassment, or nuisance. The Hyderabad-based startup plans to roll out creator-led Spaces, a feature that allows creators and community leaders to host live discussions, events, and hybrid online-offline experiences. The platform enables ticketed events, targeted event promotion, and long-term partnerships with offline venues such as cafes, clubs, and cultural spaces. According to the company, it is expanding through college activations, cafe and brewery partnerships, creator collaborations, and organic community building initiatives. It plans to scale across major Indian cities before expanding to global markets, with a longer-term roadmap that includes premium subscriptions, creator monetisation tools, and native advertising aligned with user interests. Culture aims to build a global platform where human connection comes before algorithms, and where digital spaces feel less like feeds and more like conversations.

AI-led tax management infrastructure startup Prosperr.io has raised $4 million in a seed funding round led by Jungle Ventures. The round also saw participation from Yatra Angel Network, Sadev Ventures, and other investors. The Bengaluru-based company has now raised a total of $5.55 million since its incorporation in 2022. Earlier in August last year, Prosperr had raised $1.55 million in its pre-seed round led by Gokul Rajaram, a board member at Pinterest and Coinbase. The proceeds will be used to accelerate product development, strengthen AI capabilities, and scale its B2B sales operations. The company is also exploring expansion into adjacent areas such as wealth management. Founded by Manas Gond and Dev Kumar, Prosperr.io is building software infrastructure to manage tax planning, compliance, and employee reimbursements for both individuals and enterprises. The platform uses automation and AI to handle deductions, filings, and compliance workflows across salaried users and businesses. For enterprises, Prosperr.io offers tools that automate employee tax benefits, reimbursements, and compliance, reducing manual processing and regulatory risk. On the consumer side, the company operates a subscription-led model that provides ongoing tax planning and advisory, adjusting to changes in income and financial goals. The brand has also expanded its enterprise offering with an AI-powered reimbursement product aimed at simplifying corporate tax operations. Prosperr.io claims strong traction across both segments, with high retention among enterprise clients.
