Royal Enfield has unveiled its first electric bike under a new brand, Flying Flea, which is expected to be available in 2026. The two models introduced are the classic-styled Flying Flea C6 and the scrambler-styled Flying Flea S6. Royal Enfield plans to introduce more electric vehicles in the coming years and will produce battery packs and motors in-house, while sourcing battery cells externally. The company has invested in an EV manufacturing plant in Chennai and has a dedicated team for developing electric motorcycles. Royal Enfield currently dominates the global middle-weight bike segment.

Royal Enfield has launched the Guerrilla 450, a premium roadster priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model is based on the Sherpa platform and shares similarities with the Himalayan 450. It features a 452cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 40 PS of power and 40Nm of torque. The motorcycle will be available in three variants and five colour options. In international markets, it will be known as Royal Enfield GRR 450 and will be priced at £4,850 in the UK and €5,290 in Germany.

Royal Enfield is focused on developing uniquely differentiated electric motorcycles with a strong brand DNA and has started investing in product development, infrastructure, and testing. In the Indian market, the company's market share for motorcycles above 125cc reached nearly 30% in FY23.
