Researchers have developed an AI tool that can closely imitate your handwriting style

A team of inventors from the Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in Abu Dhabi have been granted a patent for their AI tool that can replicate people's handwriting. The technology utilizes a vision transformer, a type of neural network, to understand and mimic a person's handwriting style. The tool has potential applications for aiding individuals with injuries in writing without a pen, deciphering doctors' illegible handwriting, and even creating personalized advertising. The inventors acknowledge the possibility of misuse and are cautious about its deployment. Currently, the tool can generate text in English and some French, but Arabic poses a greater challenge.
