Indian Railways fares will increase slightly starting Tuesday, with increments of โน5 for journeys between 501 and 1500 km, โน10 for up to 2500 km, and โน15 for 2501 to 3000 km. Ordinary class fares for distances up to 500 km remain unchanged. Suburban single journey fares and season ticket prices will also stay the same. For Mail/Express Trains (Non-AC), a rise of 1 paisa per km applies to second, sleeper, and first class.
