Prosperr.io, fintech SaaS platform for automating income tax, has raised $1.55 million in its pre-seed round led by Gokul Rajaram, a board member at Pinterest and Coinbase. The round also saw participation from notable angel investors including Vinodh Bhat (President & Co-founder JioSaavn), Ramakant Sharma (founder Livspace), Kunal Shah (QED Ventures), Saurabh Jain (CEO, Livspace), among several others. The proceeds will be used primarily to develop the company’s AI-first tax advisor. Founded in March 2022 by Manas Gond, Prosperr.io offers a subscription-based service designed to manage income taxes comprehensively for salaried individuals, thereby ensuring maximum eligible tax savings and compliance. The startup offers two core products: the Super Saver Product (B2C product), which helps individuals plan and save their taxes efficiently, and the Prosperr-FBP (Flexi Benefits Plans) which enables employers (B2B product) to provide non-taxable allowances. In April, Gokul Rajaram invested in customer loyalty and marketing startup Reelo. His portfolio also includes health-tech startup Dozee, Vance, CashFlo, and Rocketlane, among others.

The company is also exploring expansion into adjacent areas such as wealth management. Founded by Manas Gond and Dev Kumar, Prosperr.io is building software infrastructure to manage tax planning, compliance, and employee reimbursements for both individuals and enterprises. The platform uses automation and AI to handle deductions, filings, and compliance workflows across salaried users and businesses. For enterprises, Prosperr.io offers tools that automate employee tax benefits, reimbursements, and compliance, reducing manual processing and regulatory risk. On the consumer side, the company operates a subscription-led model that provides ongoing tax planning and advisory, adjusting to changes in income and financial goals. The brand has also expanded its enterprise offering with an AI-powered reimbursement product aimed at simplifying corporate tax operations. Prosperr.io claims strong traction across both segments, with high retention among enterprise clients.

Aspora, a cross-border financial technology company formerly known as Vance, has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Sequoia and Greylock. The round saw participation from Hummingbird, Quantum Light Ventures, and Y Combinator. According to Aspora, it has raised over $99 million in funding to date, and the current round values the company at $500 million. Aspora is a global fintech firm focused on cross-border money transfers for non-resident Indians (NRIs). The platform provides remittance services with Google exchange rates. It enables transfers from five countries, including the UK, UAE, and Germany, and claims to have processed over $2 billion, saving users more than Rs 150 crore ($17.5 million) in foreign exchange fees. According to Aspora, it is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK and works with banks governed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Founded in 2022 by Parth Garg, Aspora was part of Y Combinator’s Winter 2022 batch and recently underwent a rebranding exercise. The company raised $5.8 million in its seed round led by Hummingbird Ventures with participation from Global Founders Capital, Y Combinator, Soma Capital and angels such as Alan Rutledge and Gokul Rajaram.

The firm plans to invest further in AI-driven workflows to help restaurant operators manage delivery profitably without impacting in-store margins. Founded in 2022, Loop AI builds an enterprise AI platform focused on restaurant and retail back-office operations. Its software helps brands manage delivery-led workflows, finance, operations, and marketing using AI-driven automation. The platform is designed to help restaurants improve margins while scaling delivery and takeout, which has become one of the fastest-growing channels for the industry. The firm claims that it now works with more than 300 brands and supports thousands of restaurant locations across the US. Since 2024, Loop AI has grown sixfold, driven by higher adoption among mid-sized and large restaurant chains. Loop AI counts restaurant brands such as Lazy Dog and Starbird among its customers, using its platform to improve delivery performance and operational efficiency.
