| 7mPM Modi, CEO Sundar Pichai discuss Google's plans of participating in country's manufacturing ecosystem
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually interacted with Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet and Google, discussing Google's plans to participate in India's electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Pichai informed PM Modi about Google's partnership with HP to manufacture Chromebooks in India and its efforts to make AI tools available in Indian languages. Additionally, Pichai shared plans to improve financial inclusion in India through the unified payments interface (UPI) and the upcoming opening of a global fintech operations center in Gujarat. PM Modi invited Google to contribute to the Global Partnership on AI Summit in December 2023.
