PB Fintech, the parent company of online insurance aggregator and brokerage platform PolicyBazaar, has released its financial results for the fourth quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q4 FY25). The company reported a 38% growth in scale, while its year-on-year (YoY) profits increased by 2.85X during the same period. PolicyBazaar’s revenue from operations surged 38% to Rs 1,508 crore in Q4 FY25 in contrast to Rs 1,089 crore in Q4 FY24, as per the firm’s consolidated financial results sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). For the full fiscal year (FY25), PolicyBazaar’s operating revenue increased 33% to Rs 4,977 crore in FY25 from Rs 3,738 crore in FY24. The Gurugram-based company generated the largest share (87%) of its operating revenue from insurance broker services, which rose to Rs 1,322 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 915 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full fiscal year, it accounted for 86% of the revenue at Rs 4,298 crore. Besides operating revenue, the firm also earned Rs 101 crore via interest and gains from financial assets during the quarter which took its total topline to Rs 1,609 crore in the quarter ending March 2025. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year, total income crossed the Rs 5,000 crore mark at Rs 5,385 crore. PolicyBazaar has not provided a detailed breakdown of expenses in its quarterly financial statements. However, employee benefits expenses rose by 15% YoY to Rs 508 crore. Overall, the company's total costs grew 29% to Rs 1,437 crore in Q4 FY25 compared to Rs 1,114 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full financial year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses rose to Rs 5,039 crore as against Rs 3,739 crore in FY24. In the end, PolicyBazaar's net profits surged 2.85X to Rs 171 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 60 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, its net profit spiked 5.5X to Rs 353 crore in FY25 from Rs 64 crore in FY24. PolicyBazaar is currently trading at Rs 1,796 with a total market capitalization of Rs 82,500 crore.

The firm, however, managed to keep its grip on the profit numbers in the same period as compared to the previous quarter (Q4 FY24). PB Fintech’s revenue slipped to Rs 1,010 crore in Q1 FY25 as compared to Rs 1,090 crore during the quarter ended March 2024, as per the company’s disclosure with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Insurance broking formed 83.6% of the collections which decreased 7.5% to Rs 845 crore during Q1 FY25. The income from other operating activities, which include marketing, advertising, consulting, and support services, plunged 5.7% to Rs 165 crore in the same period. The firm earned Rs 100 crore from non-operating activities including financial income, tallying its overall revenue to Rs 1,111 crore in Q1 FY24. For PB Fintech, employee benefits cost remained the largest cost center forming 42% of the overall expenditure. This cost saw a mere increase of 3.4% QoQ to Rs 455 crore in the past quarter (Q1 FY25). The company’s spending on finance, advertising-promotion, network, internet, and other overheads pushed its total expenditure to Rs 1,081 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 1,114 crore in Q4 FY24. Despite the decline in scale, PB Fintech has managed to maintain steady profits, which stood at Rs 60 crore in Q1 FY25. On a unit level, the Gurugram-based firm spent Rs 1.07 to earn a rupee in Q1 FY25. PB Fintech ended the day (August 6) with a share price of Rs 1,425 and its total market capitalization was Rs 64,984 crore, or $7.2 billion.

For the full fiscal year (FY25), BrainBees’s operating revenue increased 18% to Rs 7,660 crore in FY25 from Rs 6,481 crore in FY24. The sale of its products through offline stores and websites in India and the international market was the primary source of revenue, accounting for 69% of total operating revenue, while its subsidiary, GlobalBees, contributed Rs 398 crore income for Q4 FY25. The company also made Rs 48 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 1,979 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,685 crore in Q4 FY24. For the omnichannel retailer, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 58% of the overall expenditure which increased 14% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 1,206 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1055 crore in Q4 FY24. FirstCry employee benefits stood at Rs 229 crore in Q4 FY25 which includes Rs 82 crore as ESOP cost. Marketing, legal, rent, and technology expenses were key overheads that drove total expenditure up to Rs 2,060 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,737 crore in the same quarter last year. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the company’s total expenses rose to Rs 7,992 crore. BrainBees’ loss surged by 74% to Rs 75 crore in Q4 FY25. For FY25, the firm losses stood at 215 crore in FY25, down from Rs 321 crore in FY24. (We have excluded exceptional items amounting to Rs 37 crore from the loss calculation.) BrainBees debuted on the stock exchange at Rs 446 and is now trading at 376.5 on May 26, bringing its total market capitalization to Rs 19,631 crore.

The income from other operating activities, which include marketing, advertising, consulting, and support services, plunged 8% to Rs 160 crore in the same period. The firm earned Rs 100 crore from non-operating activities including financial income, tallying its overall revenue to Rs 1,392 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to Rs 965 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. For PB Fintech, employee benefits cost remained the largest cost center forming 37% of the overall expenditure. This cost increased by 22.4% YoY to Rs 487 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 398 crore in Q3 FY24. This includes Rs 51 crore as ESOP expense (non-cash). The company’s spending on advertising and promotional grew 34% to Rs 289 crore. Its network, internet, legal, rent, and other overheads pushed its total expenditure to Rs 1,307 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 926 crore in Q3 FY24. The significant year-on-year growth helped PB Fintech to post a 94.6% surge in profits to Rs 72 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 37 crore in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year. On a unit level, the Gurugram-based firm spent Rs 1.01 to earn a rupee in Q3 FY25. PB Fintech ended the day on January 30 with a share price of Rs 1,659.7 and a total market capitalization of Rs 76,225 crore (approximately $9 billion).

Delhivery's primary revenue sources were its logistics services, including warehousing, last-mile logistics, and designing and deploying logistics management systems. The firm also earned Rs 112 crore from non-operating activities, bringing its total revenue to Rs 2,303 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year, total income reached Rs 9,372 crore. For Delhivery, freight handling and servicing costs made up 70% of its total expenditure, rising by 3% to Rs 1,566 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefit expenses decreased by 6% to Rs 337 crore. Legal, depreciation, and other overhead costs contributed to a minor decrease in overall expenditure, which reached Rs 2,249 crore during the quarter. For the full financial year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses rose to Rs 9,217 crore as against Rs 8,825 crore in FY24. Delhivery's continued growth and controlled expenditure resulted in a profit of Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 68 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, it turned profitable and reported a net profit of Rs 162 crore in FY25 as compared to a loss of Rs 249 crore in FY24. At the close of today’s trading session, Delhivery’s share price stood at Rs 321 per share, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 23,957 crore.

E-sports accounted for 41.5% (Rs 216 crore) of the company’s total operating revenue, while the gaming segment held a 30% share (Rs 156 crore), followed by ad tech, which contributed 28% (Rs 148 crore). Nazara also earned Rs 18 crore from interest and gains on financial assets during the quarter, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 539 crore. However, the company posted a 40.8% YoY increase in its total income to Rs 1,715 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 1,218 crore in FY24. On the line of scale, Nazara’s total expenses surged by 85.3% to Rs 528 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 285 crore in the same quarter last year. Content and commission costs together stood at Rs 186 crore, while employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 80 crore. Notably, marketing expenses saw a sharp 3.5X jump, reaching Rs 151 crore in Q4 FY25. Despite a 95% year-on-year revenue growth in Q4, the company’s profit remained flat at Rs 4 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year, its net profit declined to Rs 51 crore in FY25 from Rs 74.7 crore in FY24. Last week, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) also approved the acquisition of a majority stake and control over Nazara Technologies Limited by Axana Estates LLP, Plutus Wealth Management LLP, and Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited. Nazara is currently trading at Rs 1,270 (as of 03.41 PM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 11,127 crore (approximately $1.3 billion).

For the full fiscal year (FY25), its total income stood at Rs 4,066 crore. Infibeam operates a diversified digital platform, with a primary focus on digital payments and e-commerce solutions. On the cost side, the company’s total expenses rose by 66% to Rs 1,104 crore in Q4 FY25. For the digital payment firm, its payment processing was the largest cost center, rising by 68% to Rs 1,025 crore. Employee benefits increased by 30% to Rs 39 crore, while depreciation cost grew 6% to Rs 18 crore. Infibeam Avenues also incurred Rs 22 crore on other undisclosed expenses in the said quarter. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses increased to Rs 3,768 crore. In the end, the company reported profit after tax of Rs 55 crore in Q4 FY25, 20% up from Rs 46 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal year basis, its profit increased to Rs 236 crore in FY25 from Rs 156 crore in FY24. At 15:31 PM today, its market cap stood at Rs 5,579 crore while the firm’s stock was trading at Rs 20.

On a fiscal basis, the total cost increased to Rs 306 crore in FY25. With the increase in scale, MapMyIndia recorded a 29% increase in its profit to Rs 49 crore during Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 38 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile, annual profit increased by 10% to Rs 148 crore in FY25, up from Rs 134 crore in FY24. At the end of the day on 9th May 2025, MapMyIndia closed at Rs 1,845 per share, with a market capitalization of Rs 10,040 crore ($1.17 billion).

Fintech firm Paytm announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year (Q4 FY25) on Tuesday. The Noida-based company reported a revenue of Rs 1,911 crore and a net loss of Rs 23 crore for the period. According to Paytm’s consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange, its revenue from operations declined by 16% year-on-year from Rs 2,267 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs 1,911 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year, the Noida-based firm’s revenue fell 31% to Rs 6,900 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2025 from Rs 9,977 crore in FY24. Paytm has not disclosed its revenue breakup. The company also added Rs 224 crore from other non-operating sources, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 2,135 crore in Q4 FY25. According to the company, its Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) for the quarter stood at Rs 5.1 Lakh crore, while its average monthly transacting users (MTUs) increased to 7.2 crore in the previous quarter. For the fintech firm, its employee benefits remained the largest cost center, accounting for 35% of the overall cost, which decreased by 32% to Rs 748 crore in Q4 FY25. Its payment processing charges reduced by 27% to Rs 52 crore, and marketing expenses increased by 10% to Rs 142 crore in Q4 FY25. Software, communication, legal, cashback, and other overheads took the total expenditure to Rs 2,155 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 2,691 crore in Q4 FY24. Paytm reduced its losses by 96% to Rs 23 crore in Q4 FY25, down from Rs 536 crore in Q4 FY24. This figure excludes a one-time cost of Rs 522 crore, which includes Rs 492 crore in ESOP expenses and Rs 17 crore in transaction costs related to the sale of its movie ticketing business. As of May 6, Paytm’s share price fell over 6% to Rs 816 with the total market capitalization standing at Rs 52,082 crore.
