During the period, Cars24 reduced its adjusted EBITDA loss by 36% YoY to Rs 162 crore. The improvement was led by disciplined cost management and increased automation, with operating expenses staying broadly flat at Rs 719 crore despite revenue growth. According to the company, vehicle transaction GMV declined 5% YoY to Rs 3,731 crore in H1 FY26. Cars24 increasingly funnelled vehicles toward retail transactions instead of wholesale, prioritising profitability over volumes. Its retail GMV grew 21% YoY to Rs 2,009 crore, which accounted for over 50% of total transaction GMV, while retail margins expanded to 19.3% during the period, the company added in its performance update. As per the company, it facilitated nearly 85,000 car transactions across India, the UAE, and Australia in H1 FY26. Cars24 is also on track to cross 1.8 lakh car transactions in FY26. Financing, which includes loans disbursed through the platform, rose by 38% YoY to Rs 1,637 crore during the half-year. In parallel, vehicle ownership services, including insurance, inspection reports, buyback and compliance products, saw GMV surge nearly 19x YoY to Rs 94 crore. According to the company, its international operations also strengthened. The UAE business turned profitable at the adjusted EBITDA level, reporting a profit of Rs 9 crore in H1 FY26, with retail margins reaching around 24%. Australia also posted about 20% YoY growth in GMV and over 22% growth in adjusted net revenue. Cars24 invested Rs 95 crore in technology during H1 FY26, with GenAI now powering pricing, inspections, document verification, and customer calls at scale. AI-led automation helped reduce inspection time by nearly 30% and kept costs in check as volumes scaled. Cars24 expects to cross the adjusted net revenue of Rs 750 crore in H2 FY26, implying around 35% YoY growth, as it continues to prioritise earnings quality over headline GMV growth.

Urban Company posts Rs 383 Cr revenue and Rs 21 Cr loss in Q3 FY26 For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, the home services marketplace recorded Net Transaction Value (NTV) of Rs 1,081 crore, marking a 32% year-on-year increase. Revenue from operations rose 32% YoY to Rs 383 crore during the quarter. Despite the growth, Urban Company reported a consolidated adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 17 crore. The losses were steered by InstaHelp, which alone posted an adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 61 crore in Q3 FY26. Excluding InstaHelp, the core biz delivered an adjusted EBITDA profit of Rs 44 crore. Overall, its net losses stood at Rs 21 crore during Q3FY26. Urban Company had 7.8 million annual transacting users and 59,475 monthly active service partners in Q3 FY26. The company’s India Consumer Services business (excluding InstaHelp) remained profitable. The segment reported NTV of Rs 781 crore, while revenue from operations increased 26% YoY to Rs 265 crore. Urban Company’s Native brands business recorded a 93% year-on-year growth in NTV to Rs 79 crore, while revenue doubled to Rs 62 crore during the quarter. The international business (UAE and Singapore, excluding KSA) also posted strong growth, with NTV rising 79% YoY to Rs 193 crore and revenue increasing to Rs 50 crore. In contrast, InstaHelp clocked 1.61 million orders and Rs 28 crore in NTV, with revenue of Rs 6.8 crore in Q3 FY26. However, the vertical continued to drag profitability, reporting an adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 61 crore. Urban Company closed Q3 FY26 with a cash balance of Rs 2,095 crore, providing sufficient runway as it continues to invest in new categories while maintaining profitability in its core marketplace. During the quarter, the Gurugram-based company also approved the grant of 70.82 lakh stock options under its Employee Stock Option Scheme 2015, which will be valued at Rs 88 crore. Urban Company’s shares were trading at Rs 124.7 per share, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 18,033 crore ($2 billion).

Amagi’s operating revenue grew 34.5% to Rs 705 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 524 crore in H1 FY25, according to its financial statements included in the Red herring prospectus (RHP). The company derives the bulk of its revenue from distribution and payout services, which contributed nearly 98% of operating revenue. Income from this segment rose 36% to Rs 690 crore during the period. Revenue from AdPlus remained largely flat at Rs 15 crore. Including other income of Rs 29 crore, Amagi’s total income increased to Rs 734 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 551 crore in H1 FY25. Employee benefit expenses, the largest cost component, rose 12.5% to Rs 386 crore and accounted for over 53% of total expenditure. Communication costs increased 32.5% to Rs 216 crore, forming nearly 30% of overall expenses. Other overheads such as legal and professional charges declined to Rs 27 crore, while travel and other expenses together added Rs 71 crore during the period. Overall, total expenses increased at a slower pace of 18.2% to Rs 722 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 611 crore in H1 FY25. With Amagi’s revenue outpacing the expense growth, it turned profitable in the first half of FY26 and posted a profit of Rs 6.5 crore in H1 FY26, as compared to a loss of Rs 66 crore in H1 FY25. As of September 2025, the Bengaluru-based firm reported cash and bank balances of Rs 397 crore, while its current assets stood at Rs 1,177 crore.

Managed office space provider WeWork India has announced its financial results for Q2 FY26 after debuting on Indian stock exchanges last month. The company posted a profit of Rs 6.4 crore in the second quarter. The company’s revenue from operations grew 23% year-on-year to Rs 575 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 469.5 crore in the same quarter last year, according to its financial statement sourced from NSE. Other income contributed an additional Rs 10.5 crore which drove its total income of Rs 585.5 crore for the quarter. On a half-yearly basis, the firm’s revenue increased 21% to Rs 1,110 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 918 crore in H1 FY25. On the expense side, depreciation was the largest burn which stood at Rs 231 crore, whereas employee benefits expenses increased to Rs 48 crore. Finance costs amounted to Rs 153 crore which pushed the firm’s total cost to Rs 579 crore in the second quarter. WeWork’s profit decreased by 97% to Rs 6.4 crore in Q2 FY26 as compared to Rs 203 crore in Q2 FY25. (It's worth noting that the company had received a deferred tax credit of Rs 235 crore in Q2 FY25, which contributed a PAT of Rs 203 crore.) On a half-yearly basis, the company posted a loss of Rs 8 crore in H1 FY26 as compared to a profit of Rs 174.5 crore in H1 FY25. WeWork India’s Rs 3,000 crore initial public offering (IPO) was entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS), with the promoter entity, Embassy Buildcon LLP, selling shares worth Rs 2,294 crore, and 1 Ariel Way Tenant, an affiliate of WeWork Global, offloading shares valued at around Rs 706 crore. WeWork India made a flat debut on Indian stock exchanges, listed at Rs 650 per share, only 0.3% premium over its issue price of Rs 648. At the end of today’s trading session, WeWork India’s shares closed at Rs 623.9, giving the company a total market capitalization of Rs 8,361 crore ($942 million).
