Otter is making AI bots part of the group chat

Otter, the automated transcription service, is introducing a new AI feature called "AI Chat in Channels." This feature allows groups to ask a chatbot questions about past meetings by leveraging information from all the meetings that group members have attended. It enables multiple people to interact with Otter's AI, unlike most generative AI chat features that are designed for single-user interactions. The group chat feature aims to enhance team collaboration and productivity by providing easy access to information without switching channels. Otter is also expanding the capabilities of its AI chatbot to pull data from all meetings and transcripts, and adding an AI conversation summary feature that identifies action items during ongoing meetings.
