Optical fiber tools startup Digital Striker raises $1 Mn from Foxhog Ventures

Digital Striker has raised $1 million (around Rs 8.5 crore) in a funding round from Foxhog Ventures. According to the startup, around Rs 5–6 crore from the funding will be deployed towards setting up a manufacturing facility, hiring talent, and establishing offices in major metro cities. The remaining capital will be used to continue import operations while local manufacturing is scaled up. Founded in 2021 by Priyanka, Digital Striker operates in the optical fiber tools and equipment segment, supplying products such as fiber strippers, cleavers, visual fault locators, power meters, and splicing machines. The firm currently imports these tools and distributes them through a reseller network across India. Digital Striker plans to begin local manufacturing with 5–7 products in the initial phase and gradually expand its portfolio. The startup claims to have built a network of over 450 resellers and end customers across India. It reported a turnover of Rs 8.85 crore over the last 40 months while operating as a bootstrapped company. The brand plans to scale its manufacturing operations over the next few years while expanding distribution across the country.

Beyond making content creation effortless, FanTV is redefining how creators monetize their work. Through AI-powered tools, digital tipping, and personalized Creator Coins, it allows users to support their favorite creators while giving creators direct ownership of their content. Lab-grown diamond startup True Diamond has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Titan Capital, along with participation from Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl Ventures, and personal investments from Ashutosh Valani, Priyank Shah, Aashka Goradia Goble, Mamaearth founder Ghazal Alagh, Abhishek Goyal, and Anmol Jain. The fresh funds will be utilized to build a skilled team, amplify brand visibility, onboard jewellery experts/consultants, designers, and sales teams, launch exclusive boutique outlets in Mumbai and Delhi NCR, and invest in branding and marketing initiatives, True Diamond said in a press release. Co-founded in January 2024 by Parin Shah and Darayus Mehta, True Diamond is a lab-grown diamond jewellery brand that focuses on sustainability, innovation, and uncompromising quality. The company aims to redefine luxury in the jewellery industry. It offers a variety of products, including rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, mangalsutras, bracelets, tennis bracelets, amongst others. The startup also provides customized jewellery and men’s collections. According to the Mumbai-based company, its lab-grown diamonds are created in a laboratory setting using advanced technological processes that mimic the natural diamond-growing environment. They have the same chemical composition, physical properties, and optical characteristics as natural diamonds but are ethically and sustainably produced. True Diamond offers an extensive catalogue of 5,000 customizable designs, claims to have a customer repeat purchase rate of 1.7 times, and is available across the country.

Karan Bajaj, the co-founder of Byju’s-owned WhiteHat Jr, has raised $16 million in seed funding for his new startup Complement1. The round was led by Owl Ventures and Blume Ventures, with participation from other undisclosed investors. Complement1 is a cancer care startup focusing on personalized lifestyle coaching in the United States. According to the company, it is emerging from stealth to launch the first tech-enabled, clinically validated lifestyle modification platform for cancer patients and high-risk individuals—delivering personalized, daily guidance and education through one-on-one dedicated CoActive Coaches. “Lifestyle change is one of the most powerful yet underused tools in cancer care,” said Karan Bajaj, CEO and co-founder of Complement 1. “Every oncologist will tell you patients need more support incorporating clinically recommended physical activity, nutrition and mind-body practices. We’ve cracked the code on daily engagement with personalized, compassionate coaching—helping patients make meaningful, lasting improvements during and beyond treatment.” With this fundraise, Complement 1 plans to scale up its coaching infrastructure and operations across the United States, advance its AI-driven personalization engine, and partner with cancer centers, health plans, and employers to bring the program to their cancer patients, high-risk individuals, and survivors. A part of this funding company will also go towards product development to enhance the digital user experience for both patients and coaches.
