Only 150+ apps have been designed specifically for Apple’s Vision Pro, so far

According to market intelligence firm Appfigures, Apple's new mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, has only seen a modest response from app developers. The Vision Pro's App Store currently has just over 150 apps that have been updated specifically for the device, out of the App Store's 1.8 million total apps. There are various reasons contributing to this, including limited availability of Vision Pro headsets for testing, a small market opportunity due to the high price point, and challenges in adapting apps for the new computing environment. Additionally, the fallout from the Epic Games antitrust lawsuit may have also negatively impacted developer sentiment towards Apple. Despite this, Vision Pro users still have access to popular apps like Disney+, ESPN, and Amazon Prime Video, among others.
