Ola Electric has started delivering its budget-friendly electric scooter, the S1 X, in India. The scooter comes in three battery configurations - 2 kW, 3 kW, and 4 kW - priced at ₹69,999, ₹84,999, and ₹99,999, respectively. The 2 kW variant has a range of 91 km, while the 3 kW model can travel up to 151 km and the 4 kW option offers a range of 190 km. The scooter features a 3.5-inch LCD screen and offers three riding modes with top speeds ranging from 85 kmph to 90 kmph.

Ola Electric also reduced the price of the 2 kWh version of the scooter from Rs 79,999 to Rs 69,999. Deliveries of the vehicles are set to begin next week. Ola Electric's move comes shortly after rival Ather Energy launched its own scooter range, Rizta, with prices starting at Rs 1.09 lakh.
