Infosys, India's second-largest IT company, reported a 30% increase in its net profit for the fourth quarter of FY24. They also declared a final dividend of โน20 and a special dividend of โน8, totaling โน28. This resulted in Ekagrah Rohan Murthy, the grandson of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, becoming a millionaire at the age of five. Infosys recorded a net profit of โน7,975 crores and a revenue from operations of โน37,923 crore for the quarter. The company experienced a reduction in headcount for the first time since 2001, with a 7.5% decrease from the previous year.
