Microsoft says cause of outage at 365 apps and services fixed

Microsoft has resolved the underlying cause of the outage that affected its 365 apps and services. However, some customers continue to experience the residual impact of cybersecurity outages. Low-cost carriers Frontier Airlines, Allegiant, and SunCountry also experienced outages that disrupted their operations. Frontier Airlines has since resumed normal operations, while SunCountry attributed its issues to a third-party vendor. Allegiant's website remains unavailable due to the Microsoft Azure issue. The Department of Transportation is monitoring the situation and holding companies accountable for meeting passenger needs. Microsoft is also investigating an issue impacting various Microsoft 365 apps and services.
