Over 40 million U.S. and Canadian adults aged 18 to 29 now check Facebook daily, which indicates the platform's efforts to regain the attention of younger users who have gravitated towards TikTok. Meta's head of Facebook, Tom Alison, acknowledged the need for Facebook to evolve in order to stay relevant for the next generation. Facebook's growth among young adults is attributed to sections like Marketplace, Groups, and Dating, although the app's overall appeal to teenagers has declined in recent years.
