The company has already removed millions of accounts associated with scam operations in various countries and taken down thousands of phishing URLs. Meta has identified three main scam campaigns related to fake Christmas gift boxes, counterfeit coupons, and fraudulent sales of holiday decorations. To enhance its efforts, Meta has partnered with cybersecurity firm Graphika and enlisted internet safety expert Rachel Tobac. The company has also expanded its Fraud Intelligence Reciprocal Exchange program to include more banks worldwide.
