MapmyIndia aims for ₹1,000 cr of revenue by FY27 but faces speed bumps galore

MapmyIndia, a digital mapping company, aims to achieve ₹1,000 crore in revenue by 2027 through its analytics business and its expansion into international markets, particularly Southeast Asia. The company faces challenges from increased competition in both its legacy maps business and its new analytics offering. MapmyIndia's ClarityX, an AI-based data analytics and consulting services company, will leverage MapmyIndia's customer base to provide value-added offerings. Analysts believe that the Internet of Things (IoT) business and deals with automotive original equipment manufacturers will drive future growth. However, MapmyIndia faces competition from auto OEMs and giants like Google Maps and Apple Maps, along with numerous competitors in the analytics space.
