Law firm Khaitan & Co has announced the appointment of Digant Popat as a partner for its dispute resolution practice. Popat brings 18 years of experience in litigation and has expertise in commercial, civil, and criminal laws, as well as areas such as electricity and land laws, contracts, tenders, and project and infrastructure matters. Khaitan & Co, established in 1911, is a full-service law firm with offices in several cities across India. This appointment follows the recent addition of 14 new partners and 27 lawyers as counsels in various practice areas.

Aishwarya, and Aditi Singhvi, will join the firm's Mumbai and Bengaluru offices. Vayttaden, with 17 years of experience, specializes in public and private M&A and private equity transactions, while Aishwarya brings over 13 years of experience. Singhvi, with more than 12 years of experience, has previously worked with Cyril Amarchand, AZB & Partners, and Desai & Diwanji.
