Bookings for air travel surged by 90% during Flipkart's Big Billion Days sale, according to Cleartrip. Train ticket bookings contributed the highest revenue, followed by flights and buses. Employee benefits accounted for the largest cost center, while advertising-promotional and IT expenses were other operating overheads.
