ISRO targets first Gaganyaan mission launch by December: Chairman

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) aims to launch the first mission of its Gaganyaan project, a manned space mission, by December. The rocket hardware for the mission has arrived at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, and the crew module integration is taking place at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre. The target is to complete the wiring and testing by November, with the launch occurring possibly in December. The success of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle mission will pave the way for commercial missions using the vehicle. ISRO will transfer technology to industry partners interested in commercial launches.
