India’s talent pool is critical differentiating weapon for us: Manhattan Associates CEO

Bengaluru has surpassed Manhattan Associates' headquarters in Atlanta as the largest centre for the supply chain software seller. The company, which started with only five employees in Bengaluru in 2002, now has over 2,100 employees in the city. Eddie Capel, President and CEO of Manhattan Associates, emphasized the importance of the talent pool in India and the critical role that Bengaluru plays in their operations. The centre supports various functions including R&D, global marketing, HR, customer services, and implementation services. The attrition rate at the company is around 5%, and they focus on upskilling and retraining their employees rather than outsourcing tech work.
