India’s logistics cost will come down to single-digit in two years: Gadkari

India's Union Road Transport and Highways Minister, Nitin Gadkari, announced plans to reduce India's logistics costs to single digits within the next two years. The construction of highways and expressways will contribute to this reduction. Gadkari also expressed India's potential for exporting alternative fuels and biofuels, particularly highlighting developments in the biofuel sector, such as the use of methanol. He aims to make the Indian automobile industry the leading industry in the world. Gadkari also emphasized the use of recycled materials in road construction and the utilization of crop waste to increase farmer incomes and reduce pollution in Punjab and Haryana caused by stubble-burning.
