The government is looking to build computational capacity and offer compute-as-a-service to India's startups as part of its AI mission to develop its own 'sovereign AI', according to a report. The compute capacity will measure over 10,000 GPUs (graphics processing units), MoS IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar reportedly said. Notably, Microsoft had built a 10,000-GPU supercomputer for OpenAI.
