The initial model will be a three or four-seater plane, with potential for conversion into an air ambulance. The ePlane Company is also working on commercialising drones with payloads ranging from 2-6 kilograms in the near future. Challenges, including safety and regulatory issues, must still be resolved for eVTOLs to become a common mode of transport within the next decade.
